Long Term Effects of Divorce

Summary:

A research conducted by Judith Wallerstein shows that children of divorce are more likely to have problems such as drug abuse.They tend to not have the confidence to have a good relationship with their partners.But critics disagree with Judith Wallerstein,because the study lacks comparisons with healthy families.The values of divorce may differ from what people thought before. Maybe the next generation could be better to handle it.

In modern society,divorce doesn’t seem to be a big deal.Statistics show that every 8.6 minutes,there is a couple get divorced in Taiwan.It’s unbelievable!People’s attitude towards marriage and divorce are changing,maybe I think we can call it “irresponsible”.I can’t imagine what will become of in the future.
